NDPA Workshops provide opportunities for members to learn and practice specific aspects of photography in a small group environment. Workshops are taught by professionals in the field related to the topic. Fees are often less expensive than other commercial workshops. Workshops range in content, location (in the field, classroom…) , and duration (2-8 hour single day, multi-day, even a series over 6 weeks) depending on the topic.
If you are interested in attending any of our Workshops or have questions regarding a Workshop, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stuart and Matt will show demonstrations and field questions about post processing of images. If you have every wondered how to decide if your images have enough brightness or contrast. Or worried about colour correction and when to use it, then this is the place to be.
Of course, after working on the basics, we will hit the slippery slopes of effects such as sharpening, blurring and when to stop applying them. And of course any and all questions about computer stuff and digital images will be answered.
Members can bring their favorite winter photos, up to 8 x 10 in size, for viewing and feedback.
